Do composite truck companies deploy to combat zones like Iraq?

So me and another PV2 are in a debate, he says a “composite Truck Company doesn’t deployto a combat zone such as Iraq.“ Is this true or False ?

Hahaha, how do you think the combat arms guys get their ammo, rations, and other items they need to fight door to door. Sometimes the truck company will even be used to support Special Ops units while in theater as well. Nothing happens until something moves!!!!!!!!!!!!! Remember that.

Had to look it up myself. In short from my brief understanding of what a CTC is designed to be what your buddy is saying that Epstein did in fact kill himself, and we all know that's not true.

WTF told you that? Patently false. Transporters are deployed extensively. I was a BDE DCO of a SB, our CSSB Truck guys were in high demand. Tell that guy to go beat his face.

Thank you everyone for your responses. For those who didn’t know a Composite Truck Company is a huge Truck company with a lot of different types of drivers very versatile and can accomplish many different missions and sustain many different areas especially in the European theater.

I don’t wanna hurt feelings here, yes. You’re gonna deploy eventually one day as an 88m doesn’t matter if you’re in a CTC, TC, FSC .. etc etc .. you’ll be alright.

Well I just looked it up and oh yes they deploy to war zones and the question I would ask your buddy is this. Just how in the hell will a heavy unit like a tank bn move thier tanks 50 miles? Reason I thought it was a little funny cause I 1 of my secondary MOS was 88M4X so like the MSG stated he better be ready to ruck up and also be ready to become a grunt and learn how to dig foxholes and pull security in the great big sandbox.

People use to say back in the day before September 11 that 28th Trans BN in Germany will never deploy because of the real world mission they support in Europe. Guess what, they were wrong after OIF kicked off. My 2nd deployment was with 28th Trans in 2005 to Iraq in Al Anbar province. We were a diverse, multi functional company during that tour. We drove 915's, HETTS, and PLS. We were on the front lines with the marines and other combat units hauling valuable resources. The point is, in this day and age every MOS and military personnel is subject to deploy at some point or another unless you are super broken, in recruiting/drill sergeant status or a school house instructor.......
