Do credits received on JST accepted towards OCS? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/do-credits-received-on-jst-accepted-towards-ocs <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I’m needing 90 credit hours to get accepted into OSC in the Texas Guard. I’m only a few classes away as of now. My only issue is that I have approximately 20 hours credited at my online college from turning in my Joint Service Transcript. If my college includes those credit into my college transcript, will that be accepted when I turn in a packet for OCS? You&#39;re university will have go credit them for your specific degree plan. Whatever they do credit will be your total amount of hrs tally that you&#39;ll use for OCS eligibility. 1LT Private RallyPoint Member Mon, 26 Nov 2018 20:55:04 -0500 2018-11-26T20:55:04-05:00 Response by SPC Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 28 at 2018 7:53 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/do-credits-received-on-jst-accepted-towards-ocs?n=4166926&urlhash=4166926 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>SSG, <br />I&#39;d recommend looking at your degree plan map, and see what&#39;s all the classes you need to take, and see if it can substitute elective classes. I know as far as elective credits you can possibly get a leadership or management electives knocked out, especially since you completed SSD-1&amp;2 BLC, ALC, and if you already have SLC. It will very well help towards completion of your degree. They counted my military training as all electives and I got about 15 credit hours and I didn&#39;t have to take any electives except for two, and I was able to finish in my associates in Political Science in just three semesters as a full-time student. I had my transcript sent to my Change and they recognize it as a actual degree even with military credits applied to it. So if you have received your Bachelor&#39;s degree with military credits in there, it&#39;s still recognized as a bachelor&#39;s.
