Do I have any options to receive a commission? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/do-i-have-any-options-to-receive-a-commission

I am 30 with almost 10 years of service all active. I have my Bachelor's and I am married with 2 children. No blemishes on my record and stellar NCOER's. Does anyone know of any programs out there? I qualify for OCS due to having over 8 years of active federal service. With the drawdown the number of slots for ROTC and West Point are being cut and OCS is being slashed.

Also retention rates for current LTs and CPTs could be forced as low as 50%.

Unless you are willing to go for a reserve commission you may be out of luck unless you plan on going to school to get a direct commission in a special field.
