Do I have to do staff duty after I clear post completely?

Final out day is today and staff duty tomorrow. Am I released from that duty after I completely clear post today?

It would be dumb to have you on any duty roster since you've had your final out. When do you sign out on leave?

Once you clear the post you are free to go. In fact, once you begin clearing you are not supposed to have any duties during your clearing time.

You need to get this cleared up with your chain of command. You should be on a leave status the day after you clear and not required to pull this duty however I would not just no show.

I have no helpful advice for you WO1 Private RallyPoint Member. This just sounds like one of those special Army moments that makes me shake my head and say "wow".

If you Final Out you should be on leave status, if so you don't have staff duty because you're not in that unit.

If you are not on leave status you can do Staff Duty.

See whoever is in charge of the DA6. Someone didn't get you squared away. Once you have cleared post you are in transit status and unavailable for duty as you are supposed to be headed to your new duty station or civilian life which ever is relevant.
