Do I have to get a waiver due to a past VA disability?

I got out the Army due to PT failure(I know I fucked up). When I came home, I went to the VA to report one of my restricted reports to get counseling. They diagnosed me with PTSD from Military Sexual Trauma. I actually did not know that was a thing to be honest. Anyways, I’m finally okay and was able to get the help I need to move forward. I want to re-enlist and come back to the Army. Would I need a waiver for that? How likely would it be approved considering it’s not extreme Combat PTSD and does not effect much of my life anymore.

Ok, you got chaptered for PT failure. What is your RE code and narrative? Those really are going to determine the difficulty of you getting back in or not and really only a recruiter can tell you what you will have to do or if you can do anything. It depends on what command put as your termination reason. If it is just PT failure... you will have to show that you can pass a PT test most likely but do not quote me on that as I am not a recruiter. It is only what I have seen here in some cases.
Talk to a recruiter. Like tomorrow.

Only a recruiter can answer your question. Like SSG Brian G. stated, is based on the discharge circumstances and your Re-Entry (RE) Code on your DD214.

UPDATE : I spoke to a recruiter. I have to get the OK from the va with supporting documents. Once confirmed then I need to pass the APFT and from there I would be able to qualify since my DD214 only states a waiver for pt test.
