Hi,
I am currently an enlisted active duty soldier and want to apply green to gold program active duty option for my graduate degree.
It seems confusing to me because green to gold program window opens in June and closes in November. However, if I apply for graduate school, I would apply in December and get admitted around May.
So, do I have to apply Green to Gold program before I apply for my graduate school? Or do I have to be admitted before I apply Green to Gold?
I think it is more reasonable to apply Green to Gold program beforehand, because it would be messed up when I get admitted graduate school and fail to be in Green to Gold, which means I have to quit my opportunity.

Thank you

You need to be accepted into the university’s grad school program before you offically submit your application.

Cadet Command has a board in December to pick the most qualified applicants, why would they select someone who isn’t accepted into a program?

Throughout phase 1 of the application you’ll need school officials to fill out and sign degree plans for you. Keep that in mind.

Search the G2G handbook and read it front and back, then do it again.

Good luck!

Look up the G2G ADO FB group. Tons of info on there. A couple of USACC processors are on there as well. PFC (Join to see)

Wish I could help you brother I see so many questions on this forum regarding. Army needs to simplify this program it seems. Marine Corps uses KISS principle in most things. My suggestion is find the Army Order pertaining: https://www.thebalancecareers.com/army-enlisted-commissioning-program-3345024 This is generic summary but find the order and call an administrative Soldier on the phone 'AFTER' you read the order. Point is if you want to be an Officer you need to be self sufficient/Self motivated and be able to decipher these kind of programs to Lead other soldiers through the process yourself. Happy reading! Get Motivated and don't stop pushing till you get what you want but do as much of it yourself as humanly possible FIRST! Good Luck!

PFC (Join to see) - Wish I could help you more but I don't know much about that program. I did notice on a couple other posts that some Army members with knowledge specifically about it did comment. Good Luck.

I believe you just have to be requesting admission.

This seems like something the Army website should be able to answer for you.
