Do I know me? Do you know you??

I just had an interesting situation pop up. I was checking out the "Updates" for the site, and - you know how RallyPoint will sneak in, "Do you know this person? Would you like to Connect with them," to the feed? Well, I was just asked if I know... ME!

When I clicked on this joker's link, it was MY account info... including a "Like" I had just given someone just seconds before. This means that there isn't an imposter (who the hell would wanna pretend they were ME?!?!).

I tried to connect with "me," but it gave me an error message, saying that you can't connect with yourself.

Has anyone else seen this, or am I an odd duck here?

I definitely haven't seen that! However it does appear I registered for the site before but never filled out my profile or did much. There is a second Nicholas Mulcahey on here (unless it's since been deleted). Oops!

At least I'm not the only one... And after the second time it happened, I actually considered the question, especially when I got an error trying to like myself... Bad move, as I must have considered and thought about this for about an hour before reaching my conclusion, and I am happy to report, "Yeah, I know that guy!!!" :D

MCPO Private RallyPoint Member I haven't had that happen, but it appears that some programming changes are occurring as we type. My entire page that shows: "Members Similar to you" has changed completely and now it is populated with my current connections and people that I have pending connections with right now, nobody (New) similar to me like before. I'll check in with the following individuals and see if there are some updates being pushed to the site causing some of these anomalies. SSG James J. Palmer IV aka "JP4", SFC Mark Merino, SSG Carlos Madden, or CPT Private RallyPoint Member is RallyPoint pushing some changes out to the site today?

Just so you know there was something like this in the early days of Rallypoint. I was able to connect to myself from the mobile app. I am pretty sure I am friends with myself.

I just got the same "Do you know this person?" Yep I see her all day every day. I can't escape that female. Damn! Can't even go to the bathroom without her being there. ;)

I am relatively new to RP and yes this happened to me, lol. It asked if I wanted to connect, I clicked yes, it showed a list of reasons why. I chose other, in the comment box I said because it's me, lol
