Do I wear my Air Force training ribbon on my Army uniform?

Thank you for the responses. I have gotten the answer I needed. The original title was edited and it changed the context of the post a bit. I knew I "could" wear it because I earned it and it is currently on my ERB. The question really was: Do I have to wear it? But that question has been answered as well, at least in regards to the DA photo. I appreciate all the answers!

All awards. If it is on your ERB, you should wear it.

Your photo needs to match your ERB and personnel file.

If the Army accepted it and it made to your ERB you are good

AR 600-8-22 ch5 you may wear prior service awards. But I agree with the other responses to your question, your photo should match your ERB. Good luck on your promotion/AGR.

As in all matters of policy : refer to AR 670-1. You are entitled to wear some awards earned in other branches. Refer to regulations but most can be worn.

The awards worn on your uniform for a Department of the Army (DA) photo should match your Enlisted Records Brief. Despite our best efforts, our records are not always up to date or may not match between official military personnel files, awards orders, and record briefs. I have taken DA photos that did not include awards I was entitled to, which is a safer approach then wearing awards that may not be reflected in all of your records. I am very proud of my military service and when I reflect on it, awards don't enter the picture. It's the people I served with - Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, Airmen, and Coasties that I remember the most.

It's one of those things that says "If I can do it, should I?"
Myself personally, having a little brother as a 19K, I'd wear it like a badge of pride. Having the incredible technical knowledge of a borderline-Corporation, combined with the training of the US Army, and you have a force to be respected and reckoned with. Use that power wisely.

Hell, why not you earned it and it's accepted in the Army? The only man in my barracks to make his bunk with the "U.S." facing upward on his wool blanket was a 38 y/o Vietnam Veteran when I went through in '88. When questioned about it, in a snide way, by a Lieutenant during an inspection the Drill Sergeants went STRAIGHT TO HIS AZZ!!!

AR 600-8-22. All of your answers are found there. I've seen soldiers with awards in the incorrect order who used websites and apps to do it for them. You should always look it up yourself to make sure.

If you earned it regardless, what branch you have served, the answer is yes, but must show proof (DD Fm 214 or Orders) receiving them.

I joined the Air Force after being in the Army between early 80’s and early 90’s and the Air Force back then didn’t allow me to wear my wings, training badge nor the AAM.

You can, but you don't have to. You'll get razzed for doing so. DA photo doesnt need AF minor awards, some of which honestly are for mediocrity. The board will know if youre prior service AF. Plus, aside from major achievement awards or combat awards, once in the Army, no one will really care. But short answer. Yes, you can.
