Both.

Aye = Yes, that is correct.

Aye Aye = I understand, and will comply.

Cpl Aaron Heins - I was an 03. Served in both divisions, and my experience was not yours.

Cpl Aaron Heins - yea, bro that was super mo-tard of you with the Errrr thing...not to mention you are totally not correct..of course in the fleet, nobody said effin 'aye or aye aye sir' (super corny) but in formal situations or in boot, the Major is correct. But sir, all due respect, dont be that guy. ' i was an 03..' Yea, so were most of us. we dump on pogs, recon shit on us, DEVGRU acted like our guys were autistic boyscouts when i spent a brief sstint with Team 6 during OEF....hated those dudes, but they had really cool staches.

You had the exact same post on March 2, 2108. Why are you posting this again? Are you going to enlist in the Marine Corps?

Capitalize "Marines"

Will Boyd - One post on a topic is enough. If the previous was 20 years ago maybe, but the post was only 4 months ago. Plan to go see a recruiter now, and invite your "wanting an updated response" friend to go with you. Let us know what the recruiter says.

Sgt Ted, relax a bit. You're a bit curmudgeon over lowercase m's...yes, Marine should always be capitalized but youo seem like that guy who wants to fight the media when they write 'ex-marine' lol...It really is not that big a deal.. I dont need reinforcement that I was a badazz in the grunts of my beloved Corps.... as long as ppl dont go out of their way to intentionally insult our traditions etc, who cares bro...oh, I mean roger that, Sergeant Hallock..Rah

How do guys like you and High n Tight Ted take yourselves so seriously?? Assuming Nam vets, yea? and if you saw combat you forever have my respect. But I saw two wars myself, and war friggin blows. Esp Vietnam with the way our men were treated coming back... But my brother was a grunt too who enlisted 6 years before I did in 2005, so he never deployed let alone saw action...not his fault...no war yet. But he is the biggest motard and cannot stop reminding everyone about the Marine Corps. I will never have a more accomplished feeling than when I became a US Marine and fought in iraq the next year after that, but it was nearly 15 years ago...it was a chapter..be proud, but get a life guys...seriously...

Join nearly 2 million former and current members of the US military, just like you.
