During OCS, you are on active duty, therefore you will receive BAH.Response by CW3 Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 5 at 2018 7:06 PM2018-02-05T19:06:37-05:002018-02-05T19:06:37-05:00Capt Daniel Goodman3326793<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>That's an interesting question...I went to USAF OTS way before I got married, of course, still, it is interesting to ask...I'd suppose for those who go while married, or with kids, I'd expect that'd ne the case, though, of course, that'd be only a guess on my part, you understand...Response by Capt Daniel Goodman made Feb 5 at 2018 7:29 PM2018-02-05T19:29:35-05:002018-02-05T19:29:35-05:00MAJ Private RallyPoint Member3326836<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Yes, depending on the duration you will either receive BAH Type 1 based on your zip code or what used to be called BAH type II (BAH RC/Transient) I believe it is 30 days but could be up to 90. You will also receive the with dependent rate if your dependent isn't active duty and they are enrolled in DEERs. You will also receive Family Separation Allowance at $150.<br /><br />Type II BAH with dependent O1 is just shy of $1000 a month.Response by MAJ Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 5 at 2018 7:46 PM2018-02-05T19:46:17-05:002018-02-05T19:46:17-05:002018-02-05T18:34:03-05:00
