Do Officers in the Army wear Service Stripes on their uniform?

No, they do not. Officers will wear over seas service bars, but not Service Stripes as the Enlisted do.

no service stripes - respect based off Rank not Rank and experience.
no good cookie (unless previously enlisted) - officers are expected to behave themselves therefore do not need to be rewarded for good behavior.

670-1 states: Enlisted personnel wear the service stripes as members of the AA, ARNG, and USAR, when they have served honorably, as indicated below.
(1) In active Federal service as a commissioned officer, WO, or enlisted member of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, or Coast Guard.

which begs the question: Just how many enlisted have served in active federal service as a commissioned officer or WO?
