What else is needed to make them stricter? Response by WO1 Private RallyPoint Member made Jun 19 at 2015 10:17 AM 2015-06-19T10:17:40-04:00 2015-06-19T10:17:40-04:00 SFC Private RallyPoint Member 758533 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Bonuses are not over incentivizing the forces because if you look at the Selective Reenlistment Bonus (SRB) Milper Message 15-140 you would notice the MOS's that have been on this MILPER Message for over 7 years now are still there. Which gives Career Counselors like myself and other Leaders the indication that these MOS's are not being filled fast enough or the attrition rate is high. Another observation is that 7 years ago the Tier levels for the bonuses for MOS's across the Army have increased in a huge manner. For example EOD used to pay out all ranks at an average of Tier 7 to Tier 10 bonus; now there are no bonuses for EOD (89D) personnel at all. 7 years ago deployment bonuses were for Iraq, Afghanistan and Kuwait; Today there are no deployment bonuses for anyone. To answer the question the requirements are strict enough and they're about to get stricter in the next FY.
