You have a responsibility to maintain the skill set as a Drill Sergeant. When or if you get back in a drill sergeant unit you should just catch up or refresh your skills. I had a SFC in my basic recruiter course that had gone back to his old MOS after his time. He even had a gold badge. If your a qualified drill then you'll just have to get current and catch up on your own. Now when you go on the trail for AT some units out there will have the Reserve drills certify certain things before letting you near their soldiers. I think 1-48 at FLW does this.
