Like people have said below, much more cut and dry if you have dependents but as long as you can prove that you have a home that you actively own/mortgage/rent while away at BOLC, you will receive your BAH. Your &quot;host&quot; unit when you report to BOLC should have their S-1 or DA Civilian explain everything in more detail during your Finance brief. Some people elected to have their spouse stay with them on base, I believe in that case they did not receive BAH. So long as you are on orders for 30 days or more and you aren't living in barracks at no cost, you will get it.
