Do soldiers who made points for Jan 1ST but do not meet NCOES requirement get promoted once they complete their NCOES requirement?

Will the soldiers who made points for Jan 1ST but do not meet the NCOES requirement get promoted once they complete their NCOES requirement or will they have to make points again? Does anyone know for sure? The Army times article and the new regulation seems to go back and forth. or maybe im jsut not reading deep enough.

They will remain in the PPRL up to 24 months until they meet the required NCOES

Don't overthink these things. Nothing has really changed. If you aren't educstionally qualified, you aren't eligible to pin. The lists are shown who is considered. As the smart NCO has stated that they will remain on the list for 24 months. Get the soldier into school now.

I didn't realize there were people on there that they made points but don't have the required NCOES. Two of my e4's would have made e5 with points but they don't have BLC. Don't know what list you are looking at. Seems odd.

As stated, they will be on the list for 24 months. They will be in pending status until NCOES course completion at which time they will pin.
