We are now constantly told that we don't do enough for others. However, rarely is it mentioned that America is the most generous country when it comes to private giving. Our citizens are willing to give what little they have to help others in need. Are we at our peak? No, but peaks don't last. As far as nations go we've been a fairly consistent sine wave with ups and downs. At our lows we dip beneath the highs of other nations, but at the top, we outshine our nearest competitors. We are still a great nation. I have lived in several other countries for 31 years of my life and that simply makes one love our country more.

Having said that, many of the things that have made our country great seem to have gone to the wayside due to the "progressive liberal" movement and, as a result, our country has suffered.

Is our country still the greatest country in the world?
