If he was renaming it to something new I absolutely would be against it.<br /><br />In one way the intent is to honor the natives of the region by reverting to their own name for the mountain. I support this. The problem however, is that it has been known as Mt McKinley for so long that it will not be changed immediately, or maybe ever, in maps, records, etc. And then of course the seeming "slam" against Ohio. Now really, I don't think that part is as important as being made out, but I also understand the frustration. If they're happy, I'm happy. What bothers me is that it seems to appear that it was mandated. I'm not sure why it would have taken an Executive order to accomplish this.
