Yep its gonna happen and it may save your life. Now this of course all depends one the chip designer and the program having your welfare at heart. <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I am sure they are working on the technology but I doubt they are putting them into Soldiers yet. This does raise a lot of questions. How do they test these? What happens if the experiments go wrong? Who would decide who gets them? Would they be mandatory for all military members? I can see a lot of ethical and religious objections to these so I think they are a ways off for now.

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I know that there have been brain mapping studies but I don't think controlling the impulses to control the actions of an individual is something we can accomplish or even know how to go about yet. So I don't think it's happening, but probably will at some point in the future.
