Do you believe Joe Biden is our legitimate Commander-in-Chief?

The last time I heard, a majority of Republicans believe Trump is still Commander in Chief and that the election was "stolen" . . . Now, I know we are all professionals and will follow orders from the occupant of the White House . . . That's not what I'm asking . . . I'm asking whether U, especially if U identify with the Republican Party, believe Biden is legitimately the president . . .

If U don't, can U comment on how U think EVERY election-fraud court case that was launched on Trump's behalf (the last number I heard was over 80) was laughed out of court (including out of the Supreme Court TWICE) . . .

On 6 January 2021 when Congress validated the electoral college, Joey Biden became the 46th President of the United States. I do think there were irregularities that if looked at by cowardly judges before the electoral college met, some states would probably be awarded to President Trump. The riot at the capital on 6 Jan did nothing to help.

Joe Biden is President. IF it is shown that he didn't legitimately win the election, we are entering uncharted waters. I can't see how we can ignore it. Joe Biden will have to be replaced and I suspect that we will be treated to Acting President Nancy Pelosi until the issue is decided (Kamala's election as VEEP would also have to be declared null and void). I'm guessing that the Democrats will sue for a new election and the GOP will sue for the legitimate results of the 2020 election. (Although, on careful consideration, they too may sue for a new election inasmuch as President Trump has never had their enthusiastic support). The whole shit-show could play out until 2024 and we'll get a new election with President Trump being eligible to run again. Last suspicion: President Trump might prefer a 2024 election inasmuch as he would be limited to serving out his term until 2025, and that wouldn't leave him time to sort out Biden's mess.

Is he the legitimate Commander in Chief? Yes. Was there voter Fraud? Yes. Was there enough fraud to sway the election? No.

Anyone who believes there is zero voter fraud is just as wrong as someone who believes Trump was not legitimately beaten. There may not be widespread fraud but it is out there. Could it sway and election, probably.

With that, there is also a very broad spectrum of what makes it "harder to vote" for anyone. Requiring an ID or a witness to vote seems like a pretty low bar for a voter to meet. Gerrymandering, intelligence questions, being a property owner, or not allowing someone to absentee vote in any form, too restrictive.

I can tell you from personal experience that I could have voted multiple times in the last few elections because states do not manage their voter roles well enough. With PCS moves from states who not only send you a ballot to your address but actually forward it to your new permanent address out of state shows there is definitely room for fraud. There is great room for improvement in the voting system.

A: I believe Joe Biden is our Commander-in-Chief.

Q: Do you believe the election was fair and square?
A: I don't believe any election for President over the last 20 years or so has been fair and square. And in fact I believe every election adds more fraud and uncertainty.

Q: Do you believe the election should be audited? Forensically audited? (What the heck is the difference?)
A: I believe each election of the previous 6 elections had hot spots and those hot spots should be forensically audited. How do I define an audit vs forensic audit? An audit recounts all ballots and compares it to the original count. A forensic audit looks at each ballot to make sure it was a legally cast ballot.

I have seen plenty of charges made but no actual evidence supporting those charges. Most stem from lack of understanding the differences between states and locales and how ballots are handled. Arizona is a perfect example. The problem lies in our lack of full knowledge of those differences and politicians willing to exploit that knowledge gap

Until such a time as can be proven, he is the legitimate POTUS.
If it CAN be proven, civil war would be the result, as every election in the digital age would be null and void, their laws, policies, agreements, actions would be illegal. The ACA, DACA, NAFTA, Pipelines, etc etc.

My opinion - even if it could be proven, it will never be made public - we will never know the truth of it, because our government is a farce.

Many of those lawsuits were thrown out because of lack of standing, making any evidence or lack thereof, irrelevant. Pretty sure that none of them were laughed out of court.

"Not my President" isn't just a Joe Biden thing in case you forgot the prior administration.
Rep. John Lewis - "I don't see Trump as a legitimate President"
Hillary Clinton - "...he knows he's an illegitimate President."
Joe Biden - woman says he's illegitimate at event. “Folks, look, I absolutely agree.”
Jimmy Carter - “Based on what I just said, which I can’t retract.” (when asked if he thought Trump was illegitimate)

I'm republican for five decades and recognize Biden as president given the veracity of a very secure voting process this time and no Russian massive influence like in 2016.
