Do you believe that there will ever exist a world in which there is absolutely no need for any military force?

If the past and present are any indication, war is pretty much an integral element of the human condition but will this always be so? Do you believe that mankind will ever evolve to a point where a military force will never be necessary? What might that world look like? How might it function? Do you think that we will just find something or someone else to wage war against?

SGT Joseph Gunderson A world could exist with no military force, but then, there will be no humans left alive on our planet. An increasing population and dwindling resources are serious problems that will continue to increase tensions.

As much as I would like to say yes, human nature makes me believe there will always be someone who wants power or what someone else has.
