COL Mikel J. Burroughs Sir, when I retired from our beloved Army, for about a minute, I thought I was retired. Since then I work for the US Government full time and teach college part time (20 hours a week on campus). So my life stays busy. Do I find myself bored and in need of recalibration, yes. Much of this, in my case, may be due to fatigue. When I feel unmotivated, I remind myself how lucky I am to be able to work for the US Government and to influence growing minds in higher education. I also remind myself how great my military career was. Then I pet my dog and go for a ride on my Harley. *Poof* all is well.
