Do you feel like your leadership stuck up for you in times of need or would throw you under the proverbial bus for their own benefits?

It's a mixed bag. One time as a company commander I told my BC I was having a tough time during my divorce. He ended up making my life significantly harder.
As a MAJ I mentally crashed and did some stupid stuff (nothing that hurt others). I eventually went in patient 4 times. Well my brigade gave a me a new lease to finish my career by letting me go to the WTU.

Thanks. I have to tell you that many who have mental difficulties miss who they were.

I've seen good leaders than stick up for you that have gotten repercussions from it. Many times they prefer to keep silent.

I have experienced both. Thankfully, much more real leadership than pay grade, do what I say and not what I do leadership.
