I have called on many occasions when I feel really overwhelmed with life and the uncertainty of where im headed. I have cried, cursed, asked questions and basically been an open book to a complete stranger over the phone. I am really truly greatfull for them and their support because heaven knows it's not really coming in from the people i call friends and family. One thing they always ask is do i ever think about suicide and thats one answer thats a no brainer for me..HELLLL to the MUTHAFNNN NAW..lol!!!... Many of my friends went through the same transitional issues and did not use this hotline at all. Some of them might still be here if they did. I think it shows strength to reach out and not only admit you need the help, but apply it to your new life and acsend through your struggles.
