I highly suggest terminal leave because you keep your benefits including bas and bah. If you sell it you lose your benefits and get taxed at the highest rate "like a bonus".Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 21 at 2016 4:55 AM2016-07-21T04:55:00-04:002016-07-21T04:55:00-04:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member1736814<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Yeah they are correct. I don't think it was called Permissive TDY because that is for when you will return to work where this is a different thing and I wish I could remember what it was called. I received the 10 days plus my terminal leave. The problem for me was that I had to come back and out-process after being away from the military for over a month.<br />Have you talked to your chain of command on this? Someone must know what it is, but it is covered under a different reg from the TDY and it is specifically geared to people that are exiting service.Response by SPC Donald Moore made Jul 21 at 2016 9:58 AM2016-07-21T09:58:11-04:002016-07-21T09:58:11-04:00SSG(P) Private RallyPoint Member1737177<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Like the one SPC said he received. I do vaguely remember there being a special leave you can take when ETSing. But to answer your question and if it's important to you. Go to the regulation and seek for yourself; because in the end as you should already know. No one person has all the answers to every question you might have (they will look it up maybe if they care). But here's the link to regulation which isn't that difficult to scan through to find your answer: <a target="_blank" href="http://www.apd.army.mil/pdffiles/r600_8_10.pdf">http://www.apd.army.mil/pdffiles/r600_8_10.pdf</a>Response by SSG(P) Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 21 at 2016 10:55 AM2016-07-21T10:55:42-04:002016-07-21T10:55:42-04:00SSG Stephan Pendarvis1737289<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>NOPE!
