Old Joke. What do you get when you mix a German with a Elephant, Someone that doesn't forgive or forget. To which a German like me replies we don't need an Elephant.

I had anger issues for many years, and I probably still have them down deep inside.  There is a verse in the bible that helps me a lot, Phillipians 4:11 and having the belief that "I don't care what other people think about me. It's NONE of my business."  These two things are the foundation of my peace.

SGT Scott Bell, I am infinitely sorry to hear that. I pray that you have learned some method of releasing/relieving your anger; when the time comes....venting it.
God bless you Sergeant.

SPC Margaret Higgins i do, when I have tried to make common sense out of neglect. Nobody's perfect, but I get angry when I correct stupid situations and you still don't listen.

I don't think that you mean me; SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL; I think that you mean 'one'.
And Sergeant First Class, I am the same way.
I am a perfectionist.
And, I cannot stand it when I have to repeat myself over and over. I really try to control my anger at first; and I am sure that you do the same.
And Specialist, sometimes it's just that people are younger. Sometimes it's just that people aren't as intelligent as you are....as experienced, etc.

SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL, I've found that my anger levels go down when I use the flashlight test to determine that there are no obstructions between the person's ears, meaning that all my good information going in one ear really is continuing on its ballistic path until it passes out the other ear.

On the other hand, if something does block the flashlight, I sometimes am sorely tempted to test how solidly anchored the obstruction is with a few quick blows from the flashlight. It does seem to improve their attentiveness...

I did when I was younger, but I'm burned out now and nothing bothers me much now. It got easier when I realized that if I fell down kicking and screaming batting my head against the floor, my problem was still there when I got up again, but then I also had a headache.

Now I cut out the drama and just tackle the problem directly and things go a lot easier for me.
