I don't know if I would call this one, these were not exactly authorized on the Army ACU until about two months after I was on the JTF in Baghdad 2010.The Navy authorized and Army JTF concurred, we also had the Don't tread on me Navy Flag patches, the Navy also allowed them. Funny thing is I worked with a Army Major ( Ranger/SAPPER) and he wanted my Don't tread me union jack, so at the end of my deployment I gave him one and the Seabee patch he gave me his Ranger and SAPPER tab out of respect to me. I have them put up and would never display them but still think it was an Honor, just like the ODA unit patch that was given to us on deployment supporting JSOTF-A.

Somewhere in my bucket of stuff I have the ACU Shoulder Patch for the Windows logo with a scroll that says "PowerPoint Ranger" -- never actually wore it, just keep it as a joke. I also have the MI branch insignia sewn on a velcro square (like the rank ones) that I used to put under the flap on the mandarin collar (I miss the BDU days of rank and branch both being clearly visible on your collar), but the new OCP no longer has a place for that.

I'm a Blackhawk mechanic that for the majority of the deployment had nothing to do. One of the guys went and got about ten patches made up that had the frown face, across the top said "UH-60 Black Sheep." A few of us had A2CU's that the unit morale patches were unofficially "officially" allowed, and so we wore them. Our commander saw one of the guys that was wearing it one day, and his only comment was "nice," in a manner that seemed to acknowledge how crappy it was for us. We weren't told to remove them until we got back to our post deployment location.

Not from Iraq but when I was in Bosnia with the 984th MP Company, Longknife Squadron 4/3 ACR had patches that said, "Berut n Picka" (Pronounced: Beroot en Peechka) in cyrillic. Basically, Gunpowder and P*ssy in Serb. I never laughed so hard in my life.

ISAF - "I Suck At Fighting" or "I Saw Americans Fighting." Lots of those floated around. Also, we had a unit that called themselves the Shockers and wore a patch (http://www.omlpatches.com/shocker-1/) until the first sergeant caught on to what a Shocker was.

Not special made for me but my Commander stateside nicknamed me Shit Magnet. My tech bought me a patch. I put it on my backpack and carried it with me the whole time in Afghanistan. Its still on that backpack and occasionally, I get comments on it but nobody has ever told me to remove it.

I was deployed to Iraq and acted as part of our QRF Platoon. We were all given this tab. Unofficial as hell but it was pretty cool. I also bought the Kenny patch but mine says Kuwait.

The "kids" in my platoon always referred to me as dad still do. They made me a patch of a squirrel that said papa across the top looked like that secret squirrel patch. I wear it with pride on my leathers now.

My favorite was one that said FYYFF. One of my SSgts had it on. Our commander was making a push to have all inappropriate morale patches removed, and asked SSgt Hurst what it stood for. Hurst replied "For You, Your Friends and Family". The commander said "That's nice! I think I might get one!"

I spent the rest of the deployment PRAYING that I would see my commander with a tab on that really meant "Fuck You You Fucking Fuck", but alas, it never happened.

Ha! I saw those in the Souks in Afghanistan, Cutter and Kuwait as well as Manas. Never got one, though a few buddies did.

I don't have any that I bought, but I have a few that were given to me by units that I worked with. My fave is the FSC patch I got from Cav. The Executioners.

I remember in S.E.A. I brought some risqué patches back in my duffle bag.
In ‘Nam and Thailand I did S.P. Augmented.. when Coming back through Customs I put the badge with the button deal attachment and got waved through customs.. I was able to get done and catch that early bus to San Fran Airport and get a 0930 flight to Detroit. When I returned to Travis(My new duty station) I took it In to Security Police and turned it..
When I cleared base I had a standard clearing sheet.. Don’t recall seeing a Security police badge, did see a line tag..
The Sgt gave me a receipt for turn’g it in with it’s badge # . I had them patches in a bag for a long time .. I picked the least risqué patches (about5)and put them on a vest .. I was at a mall and was asked to not wear it and come back without it.. one had s’thing about beaucoup dinky-dau ..
(Crazy In The Head.). and Somebody complained to a security person. I remember not long ago They had a
“Friends” group which actuallly wasn’t authorized. They kept it low key ... there was a fella came in and wax sloshed.. I told the Cmdr the guy was ‘dinky day say xin’ in front of the guy.. so cmdr cut him off right then.. they did get him a ride home . His truck sat in back of our lot for a week. . The bar gal asked me later what I said to the Cmdr .. oh, that he was crazy
In head drunk ..Somebody gonna get offended somewhere.. So somebody went snowflake over what I said.. that was like talking behind his back by saying in foreign language.. ok mama-San maybe you beaucoup dink dau ? Was just kidding but she didn’t think so.. I apologized .. I was In the canteen a week later and somebody had ‘English Only’ signs around in the canteen .. well, there went that fun ! tất cả mọi người điên ! One ol guy knew what I said.. but kept it to himself.. I decided it was time to egress myself from that sitrep..

we had brassards made as MP's with snoopy on top of his dog house manning a .50 cal mind you this was the invasion and they didn't tell us much about where we were (our guess was wrong I was never at snoopy) pic to follow

Don't have any about Afghanistan, but one of our Supply NCO's was constantly talking about the secret squirrel club etc, so we had a secret squirrel patch made for him while we where there. Even found a secret squirrel pin and gave that to him as well.

I have one that I wore in 2004, that was a tab with Stop Lose Ranger on it. I had ETS’d 3 months in and no one cared about the paper work lol. I signed my reenlistment papers when I got home.

I do, but I'd have to find them. One says "I'd fly 10,000 miles, to Smoke a camel" Has an Arab man riding a Camel and the camel has a cigarette in it's mouth. A Bomb headed for them from above. The other says "Snaggin Rag-Heads" let your imagination run wild on this one, and you'd probably hit a bullseye!
