Is it an eternal chore to justify where you put things and how objects are presented to you?

I used to return to my car 2-3 times to check that it was locked, even though, without fail, I'd get out telling myself WHILE I LOCKED IT, that I wouldn't do it that time. I'm not so bad at that as I used to be, now I can get away with a glance back as I walk away. I still, however, have hand sanitizer bottles in all of my rooms.

I just want stuff to be just so. I used to get pissed when people would move the coins around my desk.

I think our vocation breeds OCD. I demand a wedge formation with the tanks 100 meters apart. There is no substitute!

It used to drive me bat shit crazy when they would put them in the wrong order or just move them around, and I know they were doing it just to piss me off.
