Make it a habit to plan everything, until it is second nature. When it comes to your current job, make sure you know what you will do if you lose it. Do you have an emergency fund set aside? Do you know what job you would want if you lost your current job? Do you have the required skills for that next job? It all comes down to planning. Do not leave anything to chance! Always finding something positive, something nice, never plan on being able to move but always being greatful when I can. Never being ugly to anyone because of the pain I am in (so far I have ridden the pain to passing out more times than I care to count and never got angery at others even when they thought they was helping and caused me to pass out). Helping as many people understand that being angry is, "a choice". Remain thankful not only what I have, but what I do not have. And my main goal is kind of hard at times, never get a hug again. Why do people want to hug so much? "Do more with less" but the reality is we do less with less. For many years I have thought we have had an over bloated defense budget, and an over bloated budget in general that is unsustainable. Our defense industry has figured out how to keep itself relevant no matter what. I once read General Dynamics has offices in 44 states, guess how many Congressional districts that brings into play? So in order to keep weapons programs going we get rid of the troops. It is in the end simple math, bring home the bacon for the Congressman/Woman CW3 Kevin Storm Wed, 08 Jul 2015 11:17:51 -0400 2015-07-08T11:17:51-04:00 Response by PO3 Christopher Leroux made Jul 9 at 2015 11:03 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/do-you-have-plan-for-your-future?n=804482&urlhash=804482 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I'm a Paramedic now debating on whether to go on and get my RN or not. Should I obtain my RN the University of Missouri Hospital will make me work at my highest licensure; which means they will pull me off the truck. Which isn't bad I guess because I am getting older.
