I found that I am able to talk to my brothers and sisters of the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association and it really helps me.

I can talk to those that have been through it, I find it to hard to get through to anyone who has not experienced it first hand

Not something I readily share. Just a few of really close people I have been able to do this with. It's a bit like a double edged sword. There are those who genuinely care and others see it as an excuse to be angry, anxious, withdrawn, or to have any other adverse behaviours. It was bad enough going into the VA for three months having to share this with folks I didn't know.
