Do you know how DA boards (that decide your promotions!) work?

Here is a great video put out by HRC that pulls the curtain aside on what promotion boards actually are and how they work. By "great" I mean that it has a LOT of fantastic information, Not that it is in any way exciting. I think it is worth the entire hour investment (That's one TV crime drama!). I especially think the mock board exercise at the end is worth doing.

When you know how the boards actually function, what you need to do to be more competitive.

They have done these occasionally, but I think this latest is probably the best I've seen.

This is great ... I wish we would have stuff like this a few years ago!
