I never knew that officers had a creed (seriously!). I feel as if I should make a smart @$$ remark here but I'm just too dumbfounded. This makes two things I've learned today! Good thing it's almost my bedtime, wouldn't want to overload the grey matter!

The Air Force did away with all creeds and replaced it with the Airman's Creed. Which is a bad knock off of the Soldiers Creed.

Vaguely recall reading about in in The Officer's Guide as a junior officer in the late '70s, but was never emphasized... People always do best what the boss checks...nobody checked...

I did know that it exists, but do not have it memorized. I've always felt that if you need the Army to tell you your duty and responsibilities, than you need to find another career.

Never heard of it. Creeds are like food coloring in cookie dough... No practical use. I'm fine with the oath and the Army Values.
