Didn't see this answer coming, huh? Well, neither did I. It seems there are a whole lot of people who don't bother to file their tax returns.

This is why my Uncle does my taxes. He is not only an accountant with over 40 years of experience, but he's also family so he's not going to rip me off or get me audited.

The easiest way to file is by using tax software; it covers ALL the bases by asking questions as you go along and all you do is fill in the correct numbers. If you don't have the numbers handy at least you know what information you need to find.
Start early and it is a no-sweat operation.

Sgt Kelli Mays you only need to file income taxes if you owe the Federal government money. If they owe you money you do not have to file, generally.
I have been using TurboTax for 20 years or so. I have found Turbo Tax to be very good for many situations.
