COL Charles Williams 818237

Need a good news story?

I get sorta tired (sorry) of some of rants and complaining here about how bad everything is, so I thought I share a good news story - AKA Danielle Green!

She is wounded warrior, who just received the Pat Tillman Award at the 2015 ESPYs.

Danielle was a Notre Dame Basketball Player, who enlisted in Army after graduation, as a MP (Hooah). She lost her arm in 2004 from a rocket propelled grenade attack in Baghdad, while serving in the 571st MP Co. After she recovered, she went back to receive her masters in counseling, and now serves Veterans in South Bend. I would highly recommend you see her speech from ESPYs - simply awesome. It made me cry and it makes me proud.

http://espn.go.com/womens-college-basketball/story/_/id/13249839/athletic-resolve-helped-pat-tillman-award-winner-danielle-green-recover

Athletic resolve helped Pat Tillman award winner Danielle Green recover

Army veteran and former Notre Dame women's basketball player Danielle Green, who lost her left arm while serving in Iraq in 2004, will receive the Pat Tillman Award for Service at the 2015 ESPYS.

Do you know who Danielle Green is? She could have gotten a negative attitude like some who has injuries like hers. But instead she still find ways to inspire us by showing how opportunity is to what degree American opportunity exists today. Rregardless of the discouraging political and legislative actions damaging our freedoms today. Glory to God! News should report at least 5 minutes on stories like this especially the 24 hour networks that simply give the terrorist a perfect platform to spew their hatred and proganda warfare tactics on our country.
