What are your likes/dislikes about being a 31B in the Army Reserves? What&#39;s a typical drill like? Do you travel (AT, etc.)? Do you like being a 31B MP in the Reserves? 2020-06-03T06:20:12-04:00 SGT Private RallyPoint Member 5964356 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I have the option of re-classing into 31B upon return from deployment soon. Lots of mandatory BS training (resilience, sharp, eo/eeo, substance abuse, suicide prevention, etc, etc, etc) and admin metrics tracker crap that eats up most of your time every month so you&#39;re left with very little time for actual training on how to do your job. Travel and AT depends on funding each year. Sometimes you will do a big joint mission for AT (CTX, CSTX, WAREX, etc) but a lot of the time you&#39;ll have home station AT. He doesn’t do really any law enforcement training. He mostly does a lot of combat support. He isn’t been to AT yet but they said it’s pretty much all field training. He doesn’t hate it but it’s kind of pointless to be an MP because they don’t really practice law enforcement Response by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made Jun 4 at 2020 2:37 AM 2020-06-04T02:37:07-04:00 2020-06-04T02:37:07-04:00 SPC William Carter 5972658 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>We did a lot more traveling than I expected even more than when I was an active duty Marine. Because of conflicts in many areas of the world, you are now needed in a lot of places. I think it is great because you are usually surrounded by soldiers who generally care a little more. It is a great opportunity to meet new people and to network. It is never a bad idea to have multiple MOS’s. Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Jun 10 at 2020 7:30 PM 2020-06-10T19:30:00-04:00 2020-06-10T19:30:00-04:00 2020-06-03T06:20:12-04:00
