Do you like the direction of Biden's foreign policy?

Many experts within academia and foreign policy have used the term "failure" in describing Obama's (Ben Rhoades) foreign policy. As China is looking to expand its sphere of influence in manning Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan I can't help to wonder if we are not headed in a similar direction with regards to our foreign policy. Our exist from Afghanistan, as I predicted may prove to be more than just an operational blunder. It may in fact reshape the entire region as China views Afghanistan as an opportunity in stark contrast to America's perception of the country. President Biden once stated that the American drawdown in Afghanistan will allow the U.S. to focus more on outcompeting China, yet we may have in fact built a $100 million dollar military base and might have giving it to China. I'm not sure if that's what Biden meant in outcompeting, regardless this may turn into the biggest blunder in our history in regards to foreign policy. As well there is an economic impact as Afghanistan is sitting on lithium deposits estimated to be worth $1 trillion or more in what may be the world's largest lithium reserves. I feel if anyone has the capability in capitalizing on this resource its China as they have transformed the African continent via a variety of infrastructure projects not to mention the Iran–China 25-year Cooperation Program.

1. The conservatives have been yelling for the past 10 years that the US is not the world police and we should bring our troops home.
2. The agreement to withdraw from Afghanistan was between Trump and the Taliban.
3. The method used by Biden was screwed up.
4. Biden and our military did one hell of a job after the screw-up, moving over 120k out of harm's way.

Agree that it is a blunder, just not totally Biden's, Trump and former Sec of State Pompeo negotiated the disastrous Taliban peace agreement in February of 2020. They announced troop reductions without without extracting any concessions from the Taliban, agreed to pull out all our troops by May 2021 and supported the release of 5000 Taliban prisoners, pretty lousy agreement. Pompeo even posed for photos with the Taliban leadership, talk about support for the enemy. Biden screwed the pooch with a lousy withdrawal strategy and deserves the criticism, but in terms of the direction we are headed, it started with Trump.

- Play right or we don't leave.
- Treat people like humans or we don't leave.
- Allow all American's out or we don't leave.
- Allow those, that assisted us, out or we don't leave.
- Work to stop al-Qauda, or we'll be back, you can work with us (we can do the heavy lifting).

Foreign Policy--The administration has three years and 4 months to formulate a policy and get it right. At the rate thing are going and the disarray in the other party we are looking are this Foreign Policy lasting an additional 4 years. If the Republicans don't "Dump Trump" they are looking at another loss.

The Afghanistan withdrawal was a colossal clusterfuck, but I want to see a major pivot to the East and orienting ourselves for near-peer regional conflicts with China and Russia.

We need to treat our allies better if that is gonna work with both at the same time, though.

It’s not just Biden. Under Obama, Trump, Biden the Chinese and and Russians have increased Imperialism. We lost the war in Afghanistann is not all on Biden, not even close. Let’s look at Trump’s imperial designs. He wanted to get out of Afghanistan and I agree with him. He got that objective rolling. Leaving Afghanistan was a continuum from the Trump days.

Under Trump’s tenure the Chinese increased global economics by investing in countries through the Belt and Road initiatives. They have also amassed many ports around the world through long term leases. China has used her military in an attempt to rule the South China Sea. Other than Afghanistan, Trumps imperial design was to trade dirty and poor Puerto Rican’s for Greenlanders! Haha!

Trump also abandoned the Kurds in Syria after they performed much of the Infantry fighting against ISIS in Iraq.

So let’s be honest and accurate about both presidents.
