President Biden once stated that the American drawdown in Afghanistan will allow the U.S. to focus more on outcompeting China, yet we may have in fact built a $100 million dollar military base and might have giving it to China. I&#39;m not sure if that&#39;s what Biden meant in outcompeting, regardless this may turn into the biggest blunder in our history in regards to foreign policy. As well there is an economic impact as Afghanistan is sitting on lithium deposits estimated to be worth $1 trillion or more in what may be the world&#39;s largest lithium reserves.
