Do you love what you do? Do you compromise? or just work from 9-5 and not care anymore?

I really love what I do (professor). It feels more like a hobby than a job. It took me a while to find the right career path, but I've really enjoyed it over the last decade (last 5 years on active duty, and the 4+ years since retirement).

Sounds funny, but depending on what day it is, it could be either of the above... But? I'm still happy with what I do! :)

I honestly love what I do. I have a very mentally demanding, high stress job, but it's also equally rewarding. Like they always say, "If you don't like what you're doing, start taking the steps to change it."
