Myself and another Soldier have founded the Tri-State Warrior Outreach, located in Quincy, IL. If there any vets in the Tri-State area and need help with unmet needs, please contact or fiscal sponsor at the United Way of Adams County. Do you or any Veteran that you know need the services of an outreach program ran by fellow Soldiers? 2015-10-18T22:52:13-04:00 SFC Private RallyPoint Member 1049587 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I know it&#39;s hard for Soldiers to ask for help. The Veterans Advocate Representative was extremely helpful. He recommend the VA Hospital in West Roxbury and showed me the different markers for my grave. And also said he would make arrangement to have the Marine Corps attend my funeral. So I thanked him &amp; hope I will not need his help for my military funeral for a few more years.. When you choose to live in a small community many of the facilities and services just aren't available. Trying to get through to someone in the VA hierarchy is near impossible and when you are done, you are back to whence you come. Don't know how the average working stiff can manage all the time they have to invest when they have problems. I hope this would not be a requirement for other outreach progams. I see doctors at the VA Oncology &amp; mental health clincs. That shoud be referral enough.
