Do you participate in other social media besides RallyPoint?

I have just recently gotten hooked on Rally Point. I am finding it so much more entertaining and educational than Facebook. I am starting to find I need to monitor the time I read post of RallyPoint. On Facebook, I just skim the news feed... but RP really sucks me in.

I enjoy this site and share a good amount of it on FB private Military Groups which are more unit and MOS based.

Twitter, I'm finding, is a phenomenal resource for news, and an impressive medium to gather perspective on a whole host of different topics and ideas. There are also some useful LinkedIn groups that provide mentorship to transitioning vets that I enjoy!

I've only been using Rallypoint a couple months, I use facebook a little, and I've been on Gunandgame.com for nearly 10 years.

I keep a LinkedIn account for professional reasons, I opted out of facebook due to low value content and OPSEC concerns. RallyPoint really incentives involvement and participation in a way that simply outclasses other social media at this point. That's it's most impressive feature to me.

I have a linkedin account; plus I'm involved in several sites for the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment and one other organization I served in for a good many years while stationed at Ft. Bragg. Both of those are connected thru FB.

I stay away from the political sites and blogs that a good many of my friends and former miltary associates I served with are involved in; Primarily because I refuse to get into the name calling, and loss of respect for one another that goes on when it comes to political issues of the day. To me, really it's Sad, so many stoop so low....over a difference of opinions!

I'm with you CW5 Jim Steddum! I prefer RP, but skim Facebook as my family and friends from high school and college are on there. I'm also on Twitter and Instagram but I scan twitter and post pics on Instagram. I have to pull myself sometimes off of RP. I have the app on my phone and read it on the train to work every day. When that tone goes off, I have to look and see who liked my comment or sent me a message. It truly does suck me in. It is how I used to be with Pinterest. It's like you enjoy one thread and like it and the next thing you know, you are slipping down that rabbit hole! LOL

I scan Facebook mainly family and close friends, Twitter I use mainly for sports, but Rally Point is great because it's that connection with people that are or have served also. I love Rally Point

I have various social media assets because I run a burgeoning film production business and it's important for me to stay current, stay relevant, and stay engaged. Additionally, I'm not really big on the personal touch -- so to stay in contact with family, I let them have access to my private Facebook page.

I enjoy some if the conversations that I participate in with the other veterans and service members here. Facebook is simply there to keep tabs on friends & family, but I spend more time calling than I do on social media.

Found out bout RP bout a week ago. I have a joint FB with my wife which she uses. Started a linkedin acct couple months ago for job insights for after the army.

I am on various social media pages. Just about all the big ones. But I have never tried Twitter and really don't mess with Instragram much. I do FB. I used to be opposed to it for the longest. Now I think it is an awesome resource.

I do still maintain my facebook account for keeping up with family however, I thoroughly enjoy the interaction with other military/veterans on RP, and the wealth of information and insight that can be found in the questions/answers and discussions..
