Ever wonder what the motivational posters look like in a SF team room? I would say something like this....

This is an interesting question Sgt Joe LaBranche. I agree that we must prepare ourselves to win and expect to win. This does not mean you have to be a jerk and expect things to be given to you but to work on what you want and as long as you do that, then you should expect to win or get what you are after. If you go into something with the mindset of "well maybe..." than those are the results you will get.

The example that comes into mind that reflects with this community is the fight with transition. As I have said before, the transition is not easy. Personally, mine was not the best early on but that was because I wasn't prepared to win. I went in thinking I could just wing it without a game plan. But after falling on my face at the bottom of countless bottles of rum, I got a plan together and have been working very hard everyday towards achieving the goals in those plans. I would say, how one prepares to win is not the same across the board. It takes a lot of internal thought to come up with a good plan of action.
