Yes, I walk fast. My wife regularly has to remind me that she a) has short legs, and b) is in heels, flip flops, etc. But seriously, maybe my trip to the grocery store IS a covert briefing with a general on my next mission. You don't know!

2. Even before I joined the military I had short hair. Ironically I think every year I've been in it's gotten longer. It's still well within regs, a shorter, tighter fade, but it's not a high and tight.

3. Yikes... even at a buffet where I get 3 plates of food I can be done in 10 minutes. I regularly end up staring around the room or talking to everyone else after I'm done. Another habit my wife would love to break me of.

4. I love the description "crossed arms and not leaning against anything" stance. I do this, I just didn't know this awesome name for it. Occasionally I will try to lean on a wall, but end up feeling sloppy and stand back up straight shortly after.

5. Forget it, not even going to try to claim I do anything else.

6. Sometimes I shuffle my step to intentionally get out of step, but then I realize it's even more obvious because I can't help but be EXACTLY opposite. Trying to walk at a different pace/rate takes an absurd amount of concentration.

7. No. I am even wearing Oakleys... I don't own a pair of sunglasses that isn't regulation. And hey it's still kinda bright, and I had PRK 10 years ago.

8. Guilty. I've even had people correct me and tell me they aren't sirs or ma'ams. I also address all groups of people as ladies, gentlemen, or ladies and gentlemen. Even when it's my friends and I just ran into them at a baseball game. I mean I MIGHT shorten it to "gents." I'm such a rebel.

9. Yeah... I also look for exits, but I think that's more from watching the Borne movies.

10. I can sleep standing up in my "crossed arms and not leaning against anything" stance. My wife hates it because it takes her 2 hours to fall asleep when we go to bed. She'll try to talk to me 5 minutes after we said goodnight and jar me out of deep sleep. She thinks I'm faking it half the time. What I will say is I wake up WAY too easily which I guess is also a factor of this, but I'd gladly trade taking another 30 minutes to an hour to fall asleep for waking up when my dog's collar jingles...Response by LCDR Private RallyPoint Member made Sep 11 at 2015 11:11 AM2015-09-11T11:11:45-04:002015-09-11T11:11:45-04:00SrA Edward Vong958802

After reading all this, I feel like I have some of the most un-military habits.Response by SrA Edward Vong made Sep 11 at 2015 11:43 AM2015-09-11T11:43:21-04:002015-09-11T11:43:21-04:00Capt Mark Strobl958819

Traded in my gold aviator frames for Wayfarers (but, I still wear 'em).
Can't seem to change "check," "hold," and "out" in lieu of "yes," "no," and "good-bye."
Scoring an 8.5 out of 10.0.
