PFC Private RallyPoint Member 5102447 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>my unit is conducting an investigation on my behalf and during the investigation I was temporarily transferred to a new unit. I got orders Oct 2 saying I was transferred there into ING and on Oct 3 the readiness NCO of the gaining unit called me and gave me a drill schedule. Will I be attending the drill while i’m ING? Do you still attend drill while transferred to ING? 2019-10-08T06:28:57-04:00 PFC Private RallyPoint Member 5102447 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>my unit is conducting an investigation on my behalf and during the investigation I was temporarily transferred to a new unit. While in the ING you are not required to report to the unit unless they have scheduled an ING muster and released you from the ING. Any attempt to pay you while in ING will result in that check going to held pay at DFAS.<br />If you received orders stating that you were transferred to the ING, just confirm with the Readiness NCO that you have also been coded ING, and if so, that you will not attend drill, and you will require notification as soon as you are released from ING. And until you are notified, you should still check in monthly with an email AND phone call, in case they forget to contact you. But if the military needs your type of MOS then changes are you can be activated.
