Do you still get a combat patch for deploying to Jordan?

My unit is deploying to Jordan soon and some people in my platoon were arguing if Jordan was one of the countries to get taken off the list as a combat zone, and it got me curious. Does anyone know if you still get a patch for deploying there as of 2018?

You get the overseas patch or deployment patch after I believe 90 days or something like that in deployed status. I wouldn't necessarily call it a combat patch though.

I've been out a long while, but if you ask me. Anything beyond Rota Spain, should be considered a combat zone.

Yes, I was in Jordan from 16-17 and we got them. They hedged the rules too and we started wearing them asap because the Jordanians "respect" soldiers with right sleeve patches more than slick sleeves. That's up to your unit though. Bring a few pairs of civis because when you leave base you can't be in uniform

As far as I know of, Jordan was never a Combat Zone except in 73.

There's a patch for Jordan, I'm going to Qatar, like SOON and it's mixed, some guys say you get one if your there for OEF/OSS hopefully we get one too
