I think that someone who is going to lead our great Nation should have to have some sort of history of giving to the greater good. I think they should have to have sacrificed and know how even the smallest of decisions can cost lives and destroy nations. I believe that he/she should be able to take action when it is warranted and not show fear in the face of his/her followers, even if they are terrified. It doesn't make you a good leader just serving as a senator, it doesn't make you a good leader serving in the military either necessarily, but it at least gives you the tools and the discipline to be one

Should Military service be a requirement to become President of the United States?

Recently on Facebook, a pic has been going around asking that same question. So I decided to look up how many Presidents have served in the US military. And this is what I found. 12 out of 44 Presidents have not served in the US Military. And one of them bribed someone else to take his place. And no, it was not President Clinton. You will shocked with him. But this president was from Ohio. There's your clue. And here is the list: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Presidents_of_the_United_States_by_military_service

But do you all think? Should it be a requirement that the President have served in the US Military?
