Do you think that there is a concerted effort to replace commanders with those who are more progressive and politically correct?

TSgt James Emanuel - On the surface, I'd have to answer "yes" to your question. PC - absolutely. Progressive - Not really clear how to define that. Regardless, as the military endures another drawdown of resources (and people), I think we can all expect that those who cannot meet the social expectations of leadership will be shown to the door.

At that level it's a political game like a lot of other things. I wouldn't say it's a specific effort though. Although I have been out for a few years so that could be changing.
