I believe due to the uptempo with a war on two fronts, and through rapid promotions, it has been difficult at best to upkeep these traditions. We need to get back to them however. I am lucky to be surrounded by a strong NCO community of AIT Cadre here in TRADOC. I can't imagine not having this support system. My previous unit would do an induction annually for all newly promoted NCOs. I believe we have lost a lot of our tradition.. but there are some units that are trying to reinstate some of our lost Traditions.
