If a sponsor is not contacting, but has the information, the unit needs to put the hammer down. A Soldier requests or wants a sponsor, this could be a positive change. To force senior officers and nco's to have sponsors who don't want them is an absolute waste of time as they very likely have already been assigned to a particular duty location multiple times. So how does this make us more efficient? It doesn't, but another administrative burden that we mindlessly execute.
