Promotions will be at stake since you need a to be qualified on your weapon system in order to be promoted. The Alt-C is essentially dead as well. The reserves are going to be crunched on this. We do not have regular access to many range facilities that can accommodate the new standards. Many reserve units also utilize MUTA 6, 8, and 10 for these things but then do not get appropriate funding or time to train soldiers to make the most of that time at the range.
