On good days, yes.

On bad days, dignity tends to go by the wayside. As for respect, that generally gets accorded as it is earned, and I do try to err on the side of generosity in that regard.

I have to thank my parents on this one by their example and the way they treated everyone when we were growing up it was a good lesson and was given by truly good people.
