I am an IT professional on the civilian side and am very wary of any new threats that are discovered until I see it myself. As an example, I was taking a course on counter-hacking and didn't really take it seriously until the instructor demonstrated an attack that would be extremely difficult to detect or stop and would give the attacker full administrative privileges on a server, going up to domain controllers. This "pass-the-hash" attack was just a point on a slide before that point, but I really took it seriously after seeing it in action. If you have programer who are able to create sophisticated virus/worm such as stuxnet, you really think you can protect yourself? Unless your a programer, those code are basically non-sense foreign language. Cpl Tou Lee Yang Tue, 07 Apr 2015 23:53:20 -0400 2015-04-07T23:53:20-04:00 2014-06-22T04:52:14-04:00
