I use a Phase 5 EBRv2, which replaced a Magpul B.A.D. lever. I'm not sure about the one in the link. It looks like you activate it with your trigger finger in the trigger guard. If so, I'll pass. NOTHING be done with your finger in the trigger guard except pulling the trigger.

I'm not as negative about the idea as most of the other respondents in this thread. It's like anything else, it would take a little getting used to. I'm guessing part of the reaction is due to everyone here being so intimately familiar with the M16/M4 that the introduction of something foreign like that is borderline unthinkable. But I wouldn't mind trying it out to see how it feels, and how much it is or isn't in the way of my trigger finger when I'm in shooting position.

Well, since I am used to clicking the safety off on my M1 Garand with my trigger finger, this seems OK to me. The M1 safety release is inside the trigger guard. I'd like to try it and see how it works on my AR.

I don't use anything other than the factory style bolt release. I guess a competition shooter might benefit from this thing. I can see wanting an ambi safety but this deal seems unnecessary.
Always after the better mouse trap I guess.

Hmmm...I'm sure someone, somewhere thought it was a good idea, but I wouldn't be a fan.
